First 22 Tons of Vegetables Exported to EU Starts from Shaoguan

Recently, the launching ceremony of Wengyuan Decai Shaozhou vegetable export to the European Union was held in Wengcheng Town.

 

Decai Vegetable Specialized Cooperative of Wengyuan County takes the opportunity of participating in the Italian International Fruit and Vegetable Exhibition in 2023, relying on the platform of Shaoguan Distribution Center of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Vegetable Basket Products, strictly controls the quality and planting standards of agricultural products, and actively carries out foreign agricultural economic and trade cooperation. The first batch of 22 tons of vegetables were exported to the European Union, including taro, wax gourd, pumpkin, sweet potato and other varieties. In recent years, Wengyuan County has thoroughly implemented the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping‘s series of important expositions on agricultural development, and vigorously developed the vegetable industry with the implementation of the "Hundred- Thousand-Ten Thousands  Projects" as the traction. At present, the vegetable planting area in the county has reached 200000 mu, with an output value of over 4 billion yuan. The export of vegetables and other agricultural products will further provide a broader market for the export of agricultural products in the county and help agricultural products go to the world.
