Recently,the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) announced the results of the 2023 Asia-Pacific Landscape Design Award. The“Planning and Design of South China Educational Historical Research and Study Base (Pingshi), the First Phase of the Project " which was completed by the cooperation of professional volunteers of the "Three Teachers" of Guangdong Province, and the teamwork led by Shi Ying and Pan Ying of the School of Architecture of South China University of Technology,and the researchers of Guangdong Institute of Architectural Design,won the Honorable Mention of the Cultural and Urban Landscape of the completed category projects. This is the first international award won by the South China Educational Historic Research Base Project.

It is the highest international academic organization with the greatest influence in the international landscape architecture industry under the guidance of UNESCO.The IFLA Asia-Pacific Landscape Architecture Award is the highest professional design award in the Asia-Pacific region organized by IFLA, which aims to show and promote the achievements and work of landscape architects in the Asia-Pacific region.
