Shaoguan New Port is directly connected to Hong Kong and Macao. Shaoguan and Shenzhen Yantian Port have been connected by freight trains.

Shaoguan has well-established transportation infrastructure and is constructing a three-dimensional transportation network of “eight highways, four railways, one airport and one port”.
T he“Eight Highways” includes highways of Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao, Nan Shao, Shaoguan North Ring, Lechang-Guangzhou, Wuhan-Shenzhen, Daguang, Kunshan and Shaoxin.
The “Four Railways” includes the Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway, Beijing-Guangzhou railway, Shaoguan-Ganzhou railway and Shaoguan-Liuzhou railway.
The“One airport and one port” includes Beijiang Waterway and Danxia Airport.
Shaoguan has been integrated into the one-hour life circle of the cities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

01.Land Resources
The land area of Shaoguan ranks second in Guangdong Province, with a large number of undeveloped land resources, giving the city huge development potential and space.
02.Ecological Resources
Shaoguan is one of the cities which have top ecological environment in Guangdong Province. Rivers are gathering in the city with excellent water quality. It is the first city that has set up pilot areas of ecological civilization construction in Guangdong Province. The city’s index of forest coverage, forest area and living wood area ranks first in the province, making it an important ecological barrier of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
03.Mineral Resources
Shaoguan is known as the “Hometown of China's Nonferrous Metals”, and “City of Zinc ”. Mineral exploration has detected 55 kinds of minerals with proven reserves. The mineral reserves such as lead, silver and zinc rank among top in the country.

Guangdong Province is accelerating the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and creating a new pattern of coordinated development of the “Pearl River Delta Core Development Area, Coastal Economic Zone and Ecological Development Zone”.
